To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Set Free Church’s beginning in 1982, Awaken Media is producing an inspiring, historical documentary (premiering Summer 2017) for the purpose of capturing how God has uniquely used Set Free and continues to use the network of churches. 

By documenting Set Free’s history and founder Phil Aguilar’s life story, interviews with past and present leaders in addition to archival footage will show how God used this unique ministry to impact thousands of lives and continues to do so today. Interwoven with the historical profile, viewers will take an adventurous and rowdy ride-along with Pastor Phil Aguilar during an ‘average’ week of ministry in the streets of southern California.
